Did you know
- GoofsIn sending House 51 back out to the scene the second time where Kidd and Otis was pinned by ammo going off in the closet, watching with captions, the first event over the PA said 5082 North Bell Avenue as did the the captions. The Second event also said the same over the PA, but the Captions read 10144 North Bell Avenue. This wouldn't be noticed really unless you watch with captions.

Joe Cruz: [carrying Patrick, who attempted suicide by locking himself in his garage and filling his car with carbon monoxide] I got him! He's not breathing!
Gabriela Dawson: Get him on the stretcher!
Sylvie Brett: I'm not getting a pulse. We need to intubate.
Gabriela Dawson: Okay, I got the monitor.
Sylvie Brett: All right, I'm in.
Gabriela Dawson: All right, shock and clear. Come on, Patrick. Increasing to 300. Clear. I got a pulse. Patrick. Patrick, can you hear me? No, no, no, no! Ah, can't do that. Can't do that, honey.
Joe Cruz: Patrick. Patrick. Hey. Your dad needs you. And you can't bail on him now. Oh, hey. Oh, hey, hey. You screwed up. You can't change that. But he knows that you never meant for any of this to happen. Now you can keep this from getting worse. Give your dad a chance to forgive. You owe him that much at least.
Gabriela Dawson: Heart rate's 110. Let's get him to Med.
[phone rings]
Joe Cruz: Hey, Chief? Uh, Otis is getting out of surgery any minute. I was wondering if it'd be okay if I could get off so I could be there.
Wallace Boden: You're not going alone.
Kelly Severide: Copy that. Let's go.
Joe Cruz: Thanks, Chief.

The guns and ammunition were obtained legally, this is not in dispute. The issue here is the fact that they were not stored or secured appropriately and as the boy was living under his parents roof, he should have made them aware that he was in possession on such items.
I can see why the firefighters were upset & angry, it's their job to run into danger but it doesn't mean that they should face additional unknown obstacles or dangers whilst doing their job.
