Being one of the most popular superheroes, Spider-Man has been the subject of numerous adaptations, each representing its own iterations of Peter Parker and the web-slinger. While some of these have become a fan favorite, such as Tobey Maguire, and achieved huge commercial success, such as Tom Holland’s venture into the MCU, Andrew Garfield’s stint as The Amazing Spider-Man remains the least favorite.

Garfield’s films are not only considered subpar but have also underperformed at the box office comparatively. However, as all the Spider-Man movies once again hit the theatres in celebration of Columbia Pictures’ 100th anniversary, the worst-rated adaptation has managed to surpass the MCU blockbuster No Way Home.

Marvel fans seem to be in for something truly great considering how, after X-Men: The Animated Series recently got its blockbuster sequel series, it seems now is the turn for the Spider-Man animated series to get its succeeding show. However, that is yet to be officially greenlit, with only cameos supporting fans’ hope of getting a subsequent series.

Nonetheless, with the ex-showrunner of the latest fan-favorite sequel series to The Animated Series (i.e. Beau DeMayo) confirming just which Spidey it was who made a cameo in X-Men ’97, the stakes are high and fans’ heartiest expectations could be met. In the case of that happening, the sequel web-slinger series needs to follow ’97‘s golden rule for animated revivals.

“The Truth is… I Am Iron Man”. The iconic line for Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark kick-started the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the first Iron Man movie back in 2008. Ever since the franchise evolved and expanded beyond comprehension and currently stands as one of the most star-studded ones in Hollywood. However, the biggest pull and win for this new connected universe truly came with 2012’s The Avengers and its subsequent iterations.

When Spider-Man: No Way Home hit the theatres in 2021, fans around the world lost it as they witnessed Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland joining hands in order to battle it out with a band of antagonists who were threatening to ravage across the Multiverse. With a trip down memory lane, and numerous Easter eggs in the film, it was an experience to behold for fans across the world. And it wouldn’t have been the same without the return of Garfield and Maguire’s Spider-Man. And this induction was made possible only because of how Disney Studios acquired the rights to Spider-Man. But Tom Hardy might have dropped a major update on a future Spider-Man movie.

The first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance was released yesterday and...well, it was quite something. It's a Venom movie, alright, and while it looks like an "epic" conclusion to the trilogy, there are signs of the same old problems.
Sony Pictures has never quite managed to grasp this character, but Venom was a hit in 2018 and Venom: Let There Be Carnage also performed well despite being released in the final months of the Covid-19 pandemic.
That's given the studio a false sense of confidence and a belief that, no matter what fans and critics say, the goofy direction they've taken this franchise in is the right one. In this feature, we single out moments in the trailer which highlight the mistakes Sony has already made with Venom: The Last Dance.

The MCU is at it again, as they have made their fandom go nuts with the release of the new trailer of Venom: The Last Dance. The fans are baffled by the fact that Chiwetel Ejiofor portrays different roles in the superhero franchise. But what has left them confused is how a small part of the symbiote was left behind in the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

House of the Dragon has a highly decorated cast, often making appearances in other famous franchises. As the release date for the Game of Thrones prequel draws closer, fans are excited to see what the second season holds. The cast is currently busy with promotional tours, and the show’s alum Rhys Ifans (Otto Hightower) paid a visit to the Venom-verse somewhere in between.

The third installment of Sony’s Venom series is also supposedly its last. The trailer picks up right after MCU’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Rhys Ifans appeared as his The Amazing Spider-Man character, Kurt Conners/the Lizard. Venom appears in the post-credit scene of that movie, and it seems like he just managed to hop back to his universe. However, things are worse here as Venom reveals his kind has launched an attack on Earth.

Ever since Marvel traumatized their fans through Spider-Man: No Way Home’s ending, audiences have been curious about what the fourth film will bring. Spider-Man 4 will start a new chapter for the character, no longer having a safety net and moving on with his life after being forgotten by the world.
Spider-Man: No Way Home I Sony Pictures
While the earlier films had lighter tones, bringing about an almost child-like essence, it can be expected that the new trilogy is certainly going to be different. If the new films adopt a darker tone, there is no better way to establish such a theme than through a good villain.
Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home I Sony Pictures
Although Spider-Man has plenty of terrifyingly menacing villains, with Mephisto’s games, King Pin’s flexible moral compass, and Kraven’s hunt, there may be an option better suited for the fourth film; Morlun.

The third iteration of the franchise helmed by Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock previewed some of the most iconic scenes that it had in store and took fans over by storm. Beloved Character Will Skip Deadpool and Wolverine to Avoid 'Messing with Logan's Timeline' - Main Image
Deadpool & Wolverine is expected to feature several surprising cameos, but there’s one character fans have been wanting to see: X-23. However, it seems like it won't happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to avoid messing with Logan’s timeline.
Fans know by now that Wolverine dies in the 2017 Logan, which was supposed to be Hugh Jackman’s final movie as the adamantium-clawed superhero.
However, the actor will make his triumphant return in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Given X-23’s importance in Logan and the possibility that the third Deadpool film may feature remnants of the 20 Century Studios movie, it’s the perfect time for Dafne Keen to reprise her role as Laura Kinney after seven years.
Sadly, she confirmed in an interview with On Demand Entertainment that it wasn’t happening.

Get Out, Us and Nope director Jordan Peele has had a meeting with Marvel about making a franchise movie according to a new report.
Ever since his wildly successful 2017 filmmaking debut, Get Out, writer-director-producer Jordan Peele has been known for making original, darkly imaginative genre movies. To date, he’s managed to avoid the gravitational pull of the kinds of major franchises that tend to suck in filmmakers and keep them busy for years on end.
According to a new report, however, there’s an outside chance that Peele might eventually direct a Marvel movie. As picked up by World of Reel, Hollywood journo Jeff Sneider mentions in his latest newsletter that Peele recently took a meeting with Marvel to discuss the possibility of directing one of its films.

Have rumors of the superhero movie demise been greatly exaggerated? At a time when even the vaunted Marvel Cinematic Universe has gone through some rough patches and the entire live-action DC Universe undergoes a total creative reboot, the luster seems to have finally worn off the industry's golden goose. Too bad nobody appears to have delivered that memo to the wackiest odd-couple pairing in the entire genre ... or to the legions of fans looking forward to turning their latest antics into more viral memes.

“Eddie… my home has found me,” the symbiote Venom warns his host Eddie Brock in the first trailer for the third Venom movie, Venom: The Last Dance. For the longest time, that statement wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense.
After all, Venom’s “home” was Battleworld, the planet where the Beyonder took a cadre of heroes and villains in the 1984 Marvel Comics crossover Secret Wars. When Spider-Man’s costume was ruined, a machine on Battleworld created a new one for him, which later revealed itself to be a malevolent symbiote. When Peter abandoned the suit, it bonded with the equally aggrieved photographer Eddie Brock and became Venom.
Simple, right? So simple that the origin stayed pretty much the same over the years, even as guys like Carnage showed up. Alternate versions of the Venom story, such as Spider-Man 3 or the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 video game, found...

In Venom: Let There Be Carnage's post-credits scene, Eddie Brock was teleported from his reality to Earth-616 (a.k.a. the Marvel Cinematic Universe).
His beaten-up Mexico hotel was replaced by what looked like a 5* resort, with the Venom Symbiote taking great interest in a TV news report about the wall-crawler. The stage was then set for a meeting between the two characters, only for Spider-Man: No Way Home to end with the reveal that Eddie never left his resort.
However, Venom did leave a piece of himself behind on Earth-616 in a scene clearly meant to open the door to Tom Holland's Peter Parker getting his own alien suit.
With Eddie sent back to where he came from, only a bartender - played by Ted Lasso's Cristo Fernández - was left to comment on the fact his sole customer vanished without paying his tab.

In recent years, audiences have seen Willem Dafoe do all kinds of things. He’s played ‘God’ in Poor Things, responsible for the creation of all kinds of hybrid creatures. He leapt around and farted in a cave for Robert Eggers’ The Northman. Even Spider-Man: No Way Home had him talking to himself down a back alley in his return as the Green Goblin. But Dafoe’s journey into weirder, wilder roles is far from over – he’s entering Tim Burton’s world in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, joining the hordes of underworld oddities in the long-awaited sequel.
Specifically, the film sees Dafoe play the brilliantly-named Wolf Jackson – an actor who, given that he was known for playing cop ‘Frank Hardballer’ when he was alive, has taken on a similar role in the afterlife as the head of the Afterlife Crimes Unit. Oh, and he has a segment of skull missing, leaving...

The first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance was released earlier today and offered fans a first look at the threequel. For those of you who enjoyed Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage, this movie certainly promises to be...more of the same.
However, it seems the plan is to up the ante and have Eddie Brock facing threats from Earth and Klyntar; that's evident from a newly released synopsis.
"In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie's last dance."

Sony’s Spider-Man Universe hasn’t had a great start this year, with ‘Madame Web’ being a disappointing flop. However, there’s hope with two big releases lined up: ‘Kraven the Hunter’ and the last movie in the ‘Venom’ series.
Yes, you heard it right, ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ marks the end of the ‘Venom’ franchise in the Sony Spider-Man Universe. There’s speculation that the character might crossover into the MCU in the future, but that’s just hearsay for now. Given the mystery surrounding the movie, let’s summarize what we know so far about its plot, cast, release date, and other details.
The movie’s plot is kept secret
Typically, comic adaptations are rife with leaks and insider information, but the ‘Venom’ franchise has been surprisingly tight-lipped. As a result, we have no official or unofficial hints about the movie’s plot.

Over the years, we’ve learned to take a supposed cinematic finale with a pinch of salt. Years after Logan, Hugh Jackman is back in Deadpool & Wolverine. In horror-land, Saw: The Final Chapter turned out to be anything but. The apparent end of the Jurassic era with Jurassic World: Dominion lasted mere years, with a new film entering production shortly. But, if the title (and pre-release chatter) is to be believed Venom: The Last Dance will be Tom Hardy’s… well, last dance with the Venom symbiote, capping off Sony's trilogy of Spider-Man-adjacent comic book outings with a whole bunch more space-goo creatures in the mix. Following his very brief appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, we catch up with Hardy’s Eddie Brock, who is now on the run – and facing foes both from Earth, and Venom’s homeworld. Check out the trailer:

‘Venom: The Last Dance’ marks the final chapter in the Ssu’s ‘Venom’ franchise. Following an extended silence largely attributed to the SAG-AFTRA strike, the film has finally unveiled its first trailer in anticipation of its fall release.
Fans are thrilled that the movie will carry an “R” rating, and the trailer has already highlighted an abundance of action.
In the trailer, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and Venom are on the run, with both the footage and the movie’s title strongly suggesting a grim outcome for them. Toxin has been confirmed as the main villain of the film. Additionally, there are rumors that Kevin Feige intends to incorporate Venom into the MCU. You can watch the trailer below:

Sony has released the first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance, which is being billed as “the final film in the trilogy” starring Tom Hardy. Check it out below.
Following the events of 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Eddie Brock (Hardy) and his alien symbiote companion are more in tune than ever — even if they still haven’t quite nailed the catchphrase. But as David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” plays in the preview, Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor gear up a military squad to bring the extraterrestrial fugitive down.
With Stephen Graham’s symbiote-bonded Detective Mulligan in their custody, it seems the government has learned more dangerous creatures from Venom’s home planet are on their way to Earth. So while Brock and his slimy black buddy are on the run from one army, they must get ready to do battle with another, nastier one… that comes with way more teeth.

They are Venom, and they are officially back — Sony Pictures has dropped the first trailer for “Venom: The Last Dance,” the final movie in the Spider-Man villain trilogy.
Tom Hardy returns as Eddie Brock, better known as the brain-eating, symbiote villain Venom from the Spider-Man comics. Sony is touting “The Last Dance” as “the final film in the trilogy.” According to the logline, “Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.”
In the trailer, Hardy faces a massive, symbiote alien from Venom’s home planet, on top of being hunted by government agents. There’s plenty of symbiote action, plus a scene where Hardy rides a super-fast, Venom-ized horse. Joining Hardy is “Ted Lasso” star Juno Temple and...

Marvel's best couple is coming back to try and save Sony's woebegone live-action Spider-Verse one final time. With "Morbius" failing to make "It's Morbin' Time!" happen and "Madame Web" falling harder than Dakota Johnson trying to pop the lid on a soda can, it's up to Tom Hardy's lobster tank-diving journalist Eddie Brock and his tater tots-snacking, gooey-hearted (and just plain gooey) boyfriend Venom to keep the studio's hopes of a viable "Spider-Man" extended universe alive. (At least until Aaron Taylor-Johnson's nose-biting Kraven the Hunter arrives to usher in the next Yuletide season classic.)
"Venom: The Last Dance" sees "Venom" and "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" co-writer Kelly Marcel trying her hand at directing for the first time, once again drawing from a story she cooked up with Hardy. The aftermath of Avengers: Endgame had Marvel Studios enter its multiverse saga. A deep dive into the storyline with projects such as Loki, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, marked the beginning of that chapter and threw open the doors to endless possibilities. Furthermore, after its take on Kang saw botched results owing to narrative failures in flicks like Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, a revamp of sorts is on the way with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in Deadpool & Wolverine.

Throughout the 1950s, big-budget musicals were de rigueur for Hollywood, and there was a sudden glut of epics that sported gigantic budgets, recognizable stars, and no small amount of studio hype. Such films were exhibited as touring roadshow productions, which was a great way for films to make fistfuls of cash. Roadshow epics were also, it should be noted, a concerted ploy by studios to distract audiences from the rising threat of television. Studios felt the need to invest a lot of money into musicals and epics, hoping the massive productions could draw people into theaters and keep the industry afloat.
One might logically predict, however, that Hollywood tried to ride the trend of epics for a little longer than was healthy, and foolish overspending eventually became common. The age of the "roadshow epic" pretty much came to a close with the release of the notorious bomb "Cleopatra" in 1963.

If there is one fandom that is allowed to have the most trust issues, it is probably Marvel fans. The franchise is known for being especially untrustworthy with the information it gives out. The secrecy surrounding every single project in the MCU is ingrained in the very fabric of the franchise. The perfect example of how far they are willing to go to keep key details under wraps is what Andrew Garfield did in the days leading up to the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Of all the existing franchises in the entertainment industry, two of the biggest rivals are the Marvel Universe and the DC Universe. Both are two of the greatest superhero franchises of all time, with even shared writers for their comic books.
But what if these two universes were to collide onscreen due to a multiversal situation? Well, that is something very well possible and could happen.
MCU and the once-dceu.
Since both are superhero sagas, they could definitely clash onscreen in a multiversal war and just may have already done that had it not been for one superhero who had been preventing it all along.

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' hunt for a Spider-Man 4 director continues, with Bad Boys: Ride or Die helmers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah now rumoured to be in the running for the job.
They previously worked with Marvel Studios on Ms. Marvel after directing the premiere and finale of the critically acclaimed Disney+ series. They then made the leap to the Dceu to direct Batgirl, only for the near-completed movie to be scrapped as a tax write-off by Warner Bros. Discovery.

We have an update on Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios' search for a director to take the helm of Spider-Man 4, and it seems Ms. Marvel and Bad Boys: Ride or Die filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah may indeed be in contention to land the gig.
According to insider Daniel Richtman, El Arbi and Fallah - who infamously helmed the Batgirl movie Warner Bros. decided to scrap as a tax write-off - are "in the mix" to direct the Spider-Man: No Way Home follow-up, but it sounds like there are other candidates.
Richtman also indicates that directors with "a current connection with Sony and Marvel Studios" are being looked at, and the studios may also be focused on enlisting "an indie director like they did with Jon Watts."
It's worth noting that Fallah was asked about the Spider-Man 4 rumors during a recent Bad Boys: Ride or Die event,...

Revisiting The Box Office Performance Of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. (Photo Credit – IMDb)
Unlike 2023, there are not many event films this year. Among the rare big releases, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 has the potential to rewrite the box office record books. Even before the promotional material was released, the film had a strong buzz around itself, and now, as it’s continuously in the news, the buzz has gone one step higher. Amid all this hype about the second installment, let’s revisit Pushpa’s performance in India.
Directed by Sukumar, the first installment was released in theatres on 17 December 2021. Upon its arrival, the film received mixed reviews from critics. Also, the film suffered in screen count due to the release of the highly-anticipated Spider-Man: No Way Home. Yes, these both films clashed at the Indian box office but still, the Allu Arjun starrer managed to enjoy run of its own.
