A: It is titled Big Brother because it is based off of the book 1984, in which the evil utopia create a watch dog system, known as Big Brother.

Q: Are any of the USA seasons available to purchase on DVD?

A: The Only complete season to buy on DVD is season three. Season four: X-Factor is also availble, however it's just highlights of the season. CBS has also announced that they are not planning to have any more seasons to come out on DVD. You can still find full episodes on youtube and on CBS.com

A: America's Player is when one housguest does whatever America asks he or she to do. Like who to put up or some crazy task like lathering someones pillow case in musterd. You can vote by text messaging or on CBS.com; This appears as the twist in the entire season 8, and also as a little twist in season 10, which was only supposed to last for a week.

A: The writers strike caused CBS' shows to go on hiatus. So CBS put on Big Brother nine which ran for a whole season.
