Sitting alone in a hotel bedroom with Odette Yustman isn't easy. Okay, not alone per se , her friend is in the next room. Still, the stunningly beautiful and gregarious actress is sitting before me, curled up in a chair and beneath a blanket while I'm across from her sitting on the bed. The bed. Now, how does one make that not look awkward? Through focus. We're each here at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills to talk about her latest foray in the horror genre, David Goyer's The Unborn (opening January 9th). And the threat she's up against this time is not a towering beast of unknown origin ( Cloverfield ), an alien robot steering wheel ( Transformers , in which she had a "blink and you'll miss it" role) or a drooling, Google image searching, obsessed fan. Taking a page from our friends at AfterElton.com, who have a weekly entertainment column called "Ask the Flying Monkey," we're introducing a weekly column to answer your entertainment-related questions.
Want to know the status of a particular movie, TV show, or band? Wondering what a certain actress is up to these days? Want to know if someone is openly gay? (We won't out anyone, but we'll let you know what they've said publicly.)
Send your questions to askafterellen@gmail.com — with your first name, city and country — and Karman Kregloe and I will try to hunt down the answers for you (we'll trade off writing this column each week). Not all questions will be answered, and it may take a few weeks to answer some of them, but we'll try to get to as many as we can.
Note: this isn't a personal advice column — please post your dating

In 2007, we told you that producer Avi Arad was planning to make a movie based on the popular toy robot Robosapien. We didn’t think it would actually happen, but hey, this is the same guy who is responsible for Elektra, Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider and the Bratz movie. And with the success of Michael Bay’s Transformers, everyone was trying to recapture the box office gold with toy to movie adaptations.
Well, yes, the movie is still happening. Actually its in post production. Quiet Earth points us to the production company website for Crystal Sky, which just released a movie poster and plot synopsis for the film, Robosapien Rebooted:
An inventor working for Kinetech Labs has designed a robot for search and rescue missions that has the ability to mimic human actions and emotions. After discovering that the robot’s advanced microchip is actually going to be used by

The filming of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" was so close to a realistic scale that it scares Megan Fox. In a recent article posted by My Park Magazine, the actress who returns to the sequel to play Mikaela Banes confessed that she was "genuinely terrified" by the experience.
Recalling the shooting for "Transformers" sequel's battle scene, Fox said, "It makes you run fast because you are genuinely terrified." The 22-year-old actress who has been seen in "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People" continued, "And you still feel blanks - with that many guns going off, you never really know."
Sounding similar remark, Fox's co-star Shia Labeouf revealed that the filming was a dangerous experience. To give a picture on how realistic the situation during the shooting, the 22-year-old recalled, "During filming I've got 75 military officers firing at me, shrapnel falling on my head that's bigger than my arms. It's hard to be normal.

Transformers star Tyrese Gibson is mentoring fans about life and love on a new telephone hotline.
Fans who call U.S. number 818-287-8968 can register for the former model's words of wisdom, which are automatically sent to their cellphones.
Gibson says, "It's a free number. I'm not making any money off of it. I call it the love circle.
"When I have advice and information and anything that's going on in my life, I'm able to call this number and verbally leave a message, which goes directly into my fans' in-box on their cellphones.
"I recently put up Will Smith's advice to me, which is, 'You can often tell how far your life and career will go based on the five people you spend the most time with.' Now you got all these people who go on the hotline changing up their circle of five, doing all this restructuring and cleaning house in their life because of these messages that I'm leaving."
He adds, "It's my way of telling the fans thank you for the years of supporting me and all my career moves. I can't cut a cheque and pay everybody's bills but I can give people knowledge and information that I have that's contributed to my success.
"I don't know what my next message is but it always comes from a real place. I love it when I have all these l these new folks calling me, saying, 'Call me Tyrese, on the love circle'."

The blurring of merchandising and film continues with Mattel aggressively pursuing bringing a “Hot Wheels” movie to the big screen. I’m sure I don’t need to explain to anyone what Hot Wheels are - those cool little metal toy cars that (at least if you’re a guy) you’ve known and loved at some point in your life.
So with brand recognition that strong, how could they Not make a movie about them, right? Right?
Oh, it’s very early in the movie-making stage for this project… so early in fact they have No idea which direction to go. It could be Mad Max (but for kids!), or maybe The Fast and the Furious (which was for kids trapped in adult bodies). Oh, and there are other toy-based projects all itching to get started:
Barbie (live action - animated DVDs have sold 62 million copies) He-Man (at least
