Tobius Gough is a Sound, Lighting and Audio-Visual engineer from the South Wales Valleys.
Since 2008 Tobius has worked with several reputable media companies including BBC Cymru, BBC Horizons and Netflix as well as high profile arts and media personalities such as: Carol Vorderman, Iolo Williams, Sian Lloyd, Rev. Richard Coles, Luke Evans, Michael Sheen, Teresa Palmer, Matthew Goode, Sali Hughes, Paloma Faith, Marian Keyes, Ella Woodward, Owen Teale, and David Olosuga.
As well as being a passionate media technician, Tobius is an accomplished musician, performing in various bands across the UK.
Tobius' interest in media production and live events engineering came from watching the sound and lighting engineers at theatre productions and seeing the behind the scenes of concert setups.
Tobius attended Coleg Gwent - Crosskeys Campus to complete a National Diploma in Music Technology under the tuition of Geraint Williams and Tony Wilson.
After spending two years completing his diploma Tobius then attended the University of South Wales to complete an Honorary Degree in Creative Sound and Music under the tuition of Matthew Lovette and Tim Land.
Tobius has expanded his career over the last few years by developing his skills in other areas of the media industry by programming and operating lighting consoles for film production companies, Vision mixing and video switching for corporate conferences and film conventions, recording, and producing music for internet streamed festival events and adopting hybrid media technologies to simultaneously run performances and productions live in person and live streamed/broadcast.
